First visit
We strive to make your child's first visit to our office an enjoyable and positive experience. Our upbeat team is trained to meet the unique needs of children of all ages. If your child is able to understand, you can tell them about our special office where there will be plenty of kids just like them. Giving specific details about the dental visit is not necessary because we'll explain everything to him or her in age-appropriate language
Good phrases to use:
The dentist is going to count and brush your teeth.

The dentist may take some pictures of your teeth with a camera.

If you are a good helper, the dentist will give you a prize or some stickers.
We are an "open" dental environment. Parents are always welcomed into all of our clinical areas to accompany their children. Seating areas are provided for parents and we encourage them to participate in their child's dental experience.
We will help to guide you, so that your presence will be of the greatest aid to your child's visit. For the safety and privacy of all patients, other children who are not being treated should remain in the reception room with a supervising adult if possible.
